Pranic Healing Reflections
I had my first Pranic Healing session on Saturday via two-way video conference. It is not often I manage to find a healing modality I have not tried before!
I’d like to tell you a little about this body of work. Grand Master Choa Kok Sui is the founder of Pranic Healing. He was born in the Philippines in 1952. He traveled the world teaching and wrote twenty-seven books on Pranic Healing and spirituality. He passed in 2007 with a message to his students to practice diligently, to purify themselves, and to spread the teachings.
Pranic Healing is a powerful energy healing modality and spiritual practice. It offers ancient healing techniques founded on an eleven chakras system model. Its protocols focus on understanding how the chakras function and through that understanding facilitating the healing of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues.
I want to share my experience with my remote Pranic Healing session.
The practitioner started by overviewing some of the aspects of the upcoming session. She asked if I had anything specific I wanted to work on. I said no, that I just wanted to see what showed up. She asked if I had anything in my health or history that I might want her to look at. I told her about my T-8 fracture and surgery 2 years ago. She said we tend to hold energy in a certain way starting from the time we are very young. She then told me that in this body of work there are 11 chakras and she would be balancing them. She said she would start by scanning my physical systems including my organs, and would then work in my energy field.
The energy work took about 45 minutes. We did not talk much during the session. At times I watched her work (we used Zoom – a video conferencing service). At other times I closed my eyes. I could feel my energy moving. It felt like a breeze across my skin.
The practitioner recapped the session after the energy work was complete, reviewing those areas of my chakra system that were clear, and those that needed work. I was asked to not shower or take a bath for twelve hours to allow for integration.
The word I would use to describe my experience is ‘clarity’.
I noticed I felt very clear at the end of the session. The word I would use to describe my experience is ‘clarity’. It was like I was looking into a clean and clear window. This feeling continued until around bedtime (my session was at noon). I was more tired than usual and I figured this was the integration process at work. I slept well but continued to feel tired the next day until I took a mid-day nap. I then felt ready to go.
Very cool experience!
I am looking forward to the Pranic Healing workshop on May 2nd & 3rd where I will learn more.
Big Hugs and Much Love,
