During this introductory class, you will learn why congestion in the abdomen, or organs that are out of balance ( such as tipped uterus), can have a profound impact on your digestive, urinary, reproductive and emotional health.
Maya Abdominal Therapy, which was an essential part of ancient Maya healing traditions, combines self care massage that provides relief for various menstrual and hormonal symptoms in women, common digestive disorders, benign prostate enlargement in men, urinary complaints and improves overall health.
This class is open to everyone. Licensed healthcare practitioners wishing to learn the full Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® are required to take Self Care Level 1 course before attending Professional Training Level 2. Check website CEs eligibility NCCAOM, NCBTMB.
Fee includes self care manual and private 30 minutes educational session with Arvigo® practitioner.
About the Instructor: Christine Lee RNCS, LAc. is a Certified Practitioner and Self-Care Teacher of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®. She has traveled to Belize and Mexico to study with Dr. Rosita Arvigo and is committed to bringing this wisdom to her clients.
